As expected, the UMCHD features the classic Behringer color scheme, umc40h4d black the dominant color and light grey details breaking up the monotony. I am very happy with this unit. Seems that others have the same problem too.

I’ve used it with direct instrument connections and condenser microphones with success. Perhaps I received a bad one – no one else here seems to be having my issue, though one other person on their web site forum complained about a similar problem.

There is easily enough clean headroom on the preamps to get you where you need to be. This one is a keeper.
